The Jameson’s and the Hooper’s met up in Fontainbleau over this past weekend and Luke Hooper and Ollie Jameson took on each other on the famous 1601 court. Their younger siblings Martha, George and Amelie-Jane all enjoyed some time on court too.

Fontainbleau have had an influx of new juniors so hopefully in the future we will be able to set up a Home/Away Junior fixture to give our juniors and theirs experience of playing abroad.

Ollie Clift took on Paul Fisher in the final of the Emsworth bowl. Both players were at the top of their game but it was Ollie who was on top form, hitting winners from impossible angles. Paul put on the pressure to get into the match but Ollie was too strong at the end of the day.

Ken Osbourne beat Emily Cole in the Emsworth back draw 6/5 5/6 6/5 in an absolute epic encounter.

Sam Willis took on Kev Nelson in the Emsworth Salver (30-45).

The match was spectacular with huge rallies but it was Sam’s day who put in a very mature performance to win the first set 6.2 but Kev had to retire in the second due to a knee injury! (2-0 Sam)
