Seacourts Jess Garside teamed up with Tara Lumley and took the Ladies Open Handicap Doubles title in style.
They won through to the knock out stages by winning all their group matches. In the semi finals they took on Jess’s mum Alex & Nicola Doble, after a 8/4 win they took on Alex Kurkjian & Elli Harris. The first 6 games went to 40 all game point, but Jess & Tara won all of them to take a 6/0 lead.. they only dropped one game and won the final 8/1.

The Vigrass sisters dominated this years Real Tennis Ladies British Open.
Claire retained her title by beating sister Sarah in the singles final 6/3 6/1. They then teamed up together to retain the doubles title, beating Karen Hird & Freddy Adam 6/3 6/2.

The singles plate was won by Elvira Campione who defeated Ashley Lenihan.
Elvira also won the doubles plate teaming up with Lucy Hutchinson to beat Ashley again who was partnered by Jacqui Watkins.

This weekend 13 pairs battled it out for the Fools Doubles title.
It came down to a final between Julia Baker & Neil Dodgson vs James Law & Norman Payne.. After 25 mins of play they could not be separated and the match was tied at 6 all! So it was a 1 point play off for the title. Julia & Neil just nicked it to take the crown!!
