Congratulations to Seacourt 2’s Divsion 9 team who were triumphant over the valiant visitors from Leamington tennis court Club.

In Division 9 our team of Nigel Ireson, Jess Garside, Linda Medlow, Jim Player and Captain Simon Flynn have finished top of the division so Seacourt had the honour of hosting the final.

Nigel Ireson took on Allan Morrissey in a thrilling 3 set match, which saw the tides turn on Nigel as the vociferous Leamington cheered their man on to victory.

Simon Flynn then took on Henry Bryan in another great match. Very much against play, Simon was keen to do the business and not prolong the rallies and court time to his advantage and silenced the Leamington supporters with an emphatic 6.2 6.2 crushing!

One match all and Jess Garside had all the pressure to bear in the final match against a very enthusiastic James Levy. Jess was not on top form but her well-honed technique and match experience was too much for James to handle and Jess cruised to a straight set victory and national league title, much to the Seacourts supporters delight.
