Squash Team Update

The Seacourt squash team are approaching the sharp end of the season with 3 games remaining. On Thursday evening Fair Oak, who are still pushing for promotion, were the visitors and quickly went 2-0 up winning the 3rd and 4th seed matches. Andrew Jameson managed to drag a point back and then Mark McMurrugh showed a new found turn of speed to win an epic match 9-7 in the 5th to set up a final match show down.

There was some nervousness on both sides as the number 1 seeds went on court. At this stage it is only right to thank all those Seacourt members who have given Aaron some much needed encouragement following a couple of unexpected losses as he played an almost faultless match winning 9-3, 9-1, 9-3 against a very good player.

We hope to finish the season with a flourish but 1 more win should be enough to avoid the drop.

Squash ladder

The Seacourt squash ladder has now been re-established, so please get involved and let’s try to get some competitive squash going again at Seacourt.
