Saturday evening saw Seacourt hosting another very successful monthly 200 Club event, aimed at encouraging more juniors to play racket sports.

This month the theme switched from a multi racket event to a Badminton extravaganza, with the real tennis court yielding to offer 2 badminton courts, with 2 further on the rackets court and sports hall.

This was by far the busiest event to date with nearly 40 juniors taking part.

After the badminton the children and parents enjoyed the culinary delights offered by the Chef, before the presentation of the Junior of the month award and the cash prize draw.

Aprils junior of the month was Katie Walker, who was nominated by Ged Eden for her performance on court.

The cash prize winners were

1st prize £100 – Pat Saunders

2nd prize £70 – Martin Higney

3rd prize £50 – Matt Walker

Many thanks to Lara Jameson, Nick Jones, Pete Wilson and Linda Medlow for hosting the evening. Thanks also to the numerous volunteers, Chef and Bar staff for their contribution.
